Names Released in Jones County Crash

A Breckenridge, CO man has been identified as the person who died Saturday afternoon in a one-vehicle crash near Murdo.

A 2006 Ford F-150 pickup was westbound on Interstate 90 when the vehicle went into the north ditch and rolled. Jesse Redding, the 31-year-old passenger was wearing a seat belt, but was partially ejected. He later died as a result of his injuries.

Stephanie Reece, 34, of Breckenridge, CO, was the driver. She suffered serious non-life threatening injuries and was taken by ambulance to a Pierre hospital. She was wearing a seat belt.

South Dakota Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash. All information is only preliminary at this time.
