Names Released in Beadle County Fatal Crash

Names have been released of the three people who died Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash southeast of Wolsey.

Preliminary crash information indicates that a 2002 Chevy Tahoe was westbound on U.S. Highway 14 when it crossed the center line and collided head-on with an eastbound 2016 Toyota Rav4.

All three people involved were pronounced dead at the scene. They were Bradley McGillvrey of Wolsey, S.D., the 40-year-old driver of the Tahoe. The occupants of the Rav4 were Deanna Andru, the 55-year-old driver, and Carol Andru, the 78-year-old passenger. Both women are from Wessington, S.D. All three people were wearing seat belts.

Traffic was detoured at the crash site for about four hours.

South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. All information released so far is only preliminary.
