Name Released In McPherson County Fatal Crash

A Mound City, S.D. man has been identified as the person who died Monday in a one-vehicle crash in McPherson County.

Preliminary crash information indicates a 2010 Kenworth T600 semi-truck and trailer was eastbound on South Dakota Highway 10 when the vehicle went off the roadway and rolled.

Mark Kellar, the 38-year-old driver, later died as a result of his injuries at an Aberdeen hospital. He was wearing a seat belt and was the only person involved in the crash.

South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. All information released so far is only preliminary.
