Name Released in Haakon County Fatal Accident

A Philip, S.D., man has been identified as the person who died early Friday night in a one-vehicle crash east of Billsburg.

A 2005 Toyota Tundra was eastbound on South Dakota Highway 34 when it left the roadway, hit an approach and eventually rolled.

Wallace Neville, the 68-year-old driver, was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

South Dakota’s Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash. All information is only preliminary at this point.
