Name Released in Gregory County Fatal Crash

A Gregory, S.D., man has been identified as the person who died early Friday morning in a one-vehicle crash south of Gregory.

Preliminary crash information indicates that a 2001 Chevrolet S-10 pickup was eastbound on 302nd Avenue, a half mile west of South Dakota Highway 251, when the vehicle entered the south ditch and rolled.

Tyler Brunmeier, the 22-year-old driver, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt.

South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. All information released so far is only preliminary.
