A Mosher, S.D., man has been identified as the person who died in a pickup crash that occurred north of Carter.

34 year old Tyler Antoine was driving a 2005 Ford pickup north on 297th Avenue, just south of 272nd Street, when he lost control. The vehicle eventually went into the ditch and rolled multiple times. Antoine, who was not wearing a seat-belt, was ejected from the pickup and died at the scene. He was the only occupant.

The pickup was discovered in a field at 9 a.m. Saturday. The exact time of the crash is not yet known.

South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. The Tripp County’s Sheriff Office also was at the scene.
