Name Released in Edmunds County Fatal Farm Equipment Accident

A Roscoe, S.D., man has been identified as the person who died Monday afternoon in a tractor/sprayer crash near Ipswich.

A 1987 Custom C70 tractor/sprayer was westbound on 132nd Street, which is a gravel road. The driver attempted to miss a deer in the roadway, but hit the deer and lost control. The tractor/sprayer went into the north ditch and rolled.

Blake Lunders, 49, was the driver. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

South Dakota Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash. All information is only preliminary at this time.
