Iowa State University Extension, University of Nebraska Extension, and Lallemand Animal Nutrition are hosting a small grains silage day on March 17th, 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. The event will be in a hybrid format, meaning producers can attend in person in Mead Nebraska, or join virtually through a live stream. The Webinar will also be shown at the Sioux County ISU Extension office as a come and go event. Beth Ellen Doran, ISU Extension and Outreach Beef Specialist says with the current drought producers may be looking to grow more small grains silage.

She says producers may be unfamiliar with growing different crops for silage and the event is set to prepare them for every question they may have.

Doran notes that all are welcome to attend and to register please call the Sioux County ISU Extension and Outreach Office.
