Much Demand For State Tax Dollars in SD

It appears the demand for state dollars will increase in the 2016 South Dakota legislature. While the Blue Ribbon Task Force on Education fine tunes possible requests, county commissioners have already proposed an increase in the sales tax.

Senator Billie Sutton of Burke says there is one proposal out that would extend municipal sales taxes into the counties…
