Students are returning to the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, with classes starting on Monday.

USD President Sheila Gestring says they hope to stay even with last year’s enrollment..

Last year USD had over fourteen hundred in the freshman class, with overall enrollment of ten thousand sixty-six students.

Gestring says there should be room for all students that want to live on campus….

Official enrollment numbers for the university system will be released by the Board of Regents late next month.
