Mount Marty College in Yankton is offering courses for adults who love to learn and don’t want the homework. The Center for Active Learners is a program that opens classes several times a year for community members, according to Associate Professor of Theology, Dr. Helen Ciernick…
With courses ranging from water discussions and stellar evolution, to theology and bird watching, Ciernick says CAL has something for everyone…
The courses are offered once a week for four weeks each session. Anyone interested can view the class schedule and register online at the Mount Marty website, or they may register by simply showing up at one of the classes.
Costs for classes are $50 dollars for CAL members or $75 dollars for non-members. Membership can be attained for $25 dollars per year.
