The Mount Marty College Board of Trustees will act as quickly as possible to name an interim president and to identify the process and timeline for hiring a permanent replacement for Benoit.

Sister Penny Bingham, prioress of Sacred Heart Monastery and Board of Trustees member said the Trustees will now begin the process of hiring an interim president to serve the College during the search for new leadership,.

Benoit was the tenth president at the private, Catholic, Benedictine co-educational liberal arts college.
