Mount Marty College in Yankton announced that Chris Kassin will be the new athletic director at MMC.

Kassin will assume responsibility for the athletic department effective July 1 and work closely with current, longtime athletic director Chuck Iverson, who announced in January his plans to retire in June 2018. Iverson will move to the assistant athletic director role for his final year of service at MMC.
Kassin says he is excited to be joining Mount Marty…..

A graduate of the University of South Dakota (USD) with a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice and Master of Public Administration, Kassin comes to MMC after serving as assistant athletic director at USD, where he worked with an athletic development team that raised nearly $15 million in 2016. During his years of experience in intercollegiate athletics, he’s consistently exceeded fundraising goals and expanded donor membership, along with providing donor campaign leadership, major gift management, strategy creation, market outreach and more.
