Mount Marty College Growth on Track

Mount Marty College President Marc Long says they saw continued growth in student numbers this year and anticipate that continuing.
Long made a presentation at the “State of the Community” meeting in Yankton this week. Long says enrollment on the Yankton campus is now at six hundred, with one hundred students each at their facilities in Sioux Falls and Watertown. Long says Mount Marty offers students a unique philosophy…

Long said there are eleven four year private and public colleges and universities in the state and four technical schools, so while competitive, the proposal by the Board of Regents for a needs based scholarship is bringing them together….

Long says he plans to help explain the scholarship proposal to state legislators….

Long says they are on track to reach their enrollment goal of one thousand students.
