Mount Marty College, based in Yankton, has become the first college or university in South Dakota to offer a clinical doctoral degree in nurse anesthesia — now offering a Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice program. The college was recently notified of its approval to offer the degree by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.

The program will be offered at Mount Marty’s Sioux Falls location. The college also offers programs at a site in Watertown.
