Defending national NAIA football champion Morningside is returning to the title game for 2019.

The Mustangs held off Grand View Saturday 21-16 to run their record to 13-0 this season.

Morningside trailed 13-7 at halftime but scored 14 third quarter points. Grand View threatened late before Morningside recovered a fumble by the visitors deep in Mustang territory.

Morningside will travel to Rushton, Louisiana, for the title game against Marian of Indiana on December 21.
