Morningside Gets Title Shot

Unbeaten Morningside has reached the championship game of the NAIA football season after beating two time defending champ St. Francis of Indiana 34-28 in overtime Saturday.

The 14-0 Mustangs will meet Benedictine of Kansas in the title matchup on Dec. 15 in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Morningside will be looking for its first NAIA football championship. The Mustangs lost the 2012 title game in overtime.
