In a battle of top ranked unbeatens, NAIA leader Morningside dropped a 33-30 decision to NCAA Division III number one Wisconsin-Whitewater Thursday night in Sioux City.

The visitors notched a touchdown in the final minute to stretch their winning streak to 35 games. Morningside had rallied from a 12-point deficit to gain a 30-26 lead with just over four minutes left.

The game was played in a steady rain.
