More Nebraska counties are moving to all mail ballots for future elections, including several in northeast Nebraska.
Knox County Clerk JoAnn Fischer says they have been approved for all mail ballots starting this year. She says they had a trial run in three precincts for last November’s election….
Fischer says they noticed higher turnouts in those precincts…

Fischer says it will save money for the county without the need for poll workers and having to upgrade voting equipment.
The Secretary of States office also authorized Cedar and Dixon Counties to go to all mail in ballots. There are now eleven counties in the state approved for all mail ballots.
