More Money Spent to Influence Nebraska Lawmakers

More is being spent to influence state legislators, according to a report issued by Common Cause Nebraska.
Jack Gould with Common Cause says the report discloses 15-and-a-half Million dollars was spent lobbying the legislature during the 2015 session, one-and-a-half million dollars more than the year before. . .

Gould says while state legislators make only 12-Thousand dollars a year, lobbyists at the Capitol make much more. . .

Gould says the biggest lobbying firms working the halls of the Capitol make more than one million dollars a year.
