For the second straight week and fourth time this season, Augustana University senior forward Casey Schilling has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference South Division Player of the Week.

Schilling, a 6-foot-6, 215-pound forward from Ellsworth, Minn., averaged 25.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 blocks to help Augustana to a 2-0 record and clinch at least a share of the NSIC Overall Championship.

Augustana University senior basketball student-athletes Daniel Jansen and Casey Schilling have been named to the Bevo Francis Award Top 50 Watch List, Small College Basketball announced Monday morning.

Earlier this season, Jansen and Schilling were named to the Top 100 Watch List and have both advanced to the Top 50 Watch List.   The list consists of 50 of the finest men’s basketball players in the country who compete in NCAA Division II & III, NAIA Division I & II, USCAA and NCCAA. The 16-member Bevo Francis Award committee chose the top 50 watch list from over 1,100 colleges and universities and took into consideration individual statistics, awards, milestones and team success.   Small College Basketball will release the Top 25 Watch List on March 15. The finalists will be announced on April 1.
