Minnesota education officials are joining Governor Mark Dayton in calling for action after a recent news report finding that many Minnesota schools do not adequately test their buildings for radon.
Education Minnesota President Denise Specht says the state needs to keep better track of radon testing results. The C-D-C says among non-smokers, radon is the leading cause of lung cancer–and children are particularly vulnerable.
