A lot of uncertainty surrounds the future of the Affordable Care Act. President Trump recently announced his administration would stop paying billions of dollars in subsidies that help insurers give discounts to low-income households. O’Toole says open enrollment begins November 1st. She says MNsure’s 2018 health insurance comparison tool is now active on-line and lists premiums and deductibles, plus estimated out-of-pocket costs based on health status and expected use of medical services.
