The Minnesota Farm Bureau is focusing on seven different areas as state lawmakers begin their 2020 session in St. Paul.
Farm Bureau Public Policy Director Amber Hanson Glaeser says they’re expecting bills to move forward on all primary areas including trade, taxes, health care and the environment.

She says they also want a measure passed that improves safety for farmers and ranchers.

Glaeser says they’ll also focus on bonding legislation this session.

Glaeser says Farm Bureau will be pushing for more funding for the Rural Finance Authority to help beginning producers.
