A recent poll in South Dakota found a majority of potential voters now oppose legalization of recreational marijuana.
The poll, done in July by Mason-Dixon Polling, found just forty four percent of voters would vote yes on recreational marijuana in November.
Matthew Schweich with “South Dakotans for Better Marijuana Laws” says he can’t believe there has been such a large move in two years…..

Schweich says there are some details in the poll that don’t add up….

Schweich says they poll is a good incentive for marijuana supporters to push for passage of I.M. 27….

Voters in 2020 approved Amendment “A” which legalized recreational marijuana but that was later overturned by the state Supreme Court.
