Mitchell Police Search for Suspects in Yankton Home Invasion-Updated

Several law enforcement agencies converged on Mitchell’s Quality Inn around 2:24 Wednesday morning. Lieutenant Don Everson says an officer spotted a vehicle that was involved in an armed robbery In Yankton Tuesday night…

The hotel was evacuated and officers searched the premises. No one was hurt.
Everson says Hailee Flores is a person of interest and wanted for questioning.
But there was more….

The stolen pickup was abandoned just south of the Riverside Road exit.
A short time later A Mitchell resident, Dan Allen encountered another suspect near property he owns by Big Green fertilizer north of where the pick up was found….

Allen called Police immediately and personnel for several law enforcement agencies converged on the area and are continuing to search for the two.
Property owners in the area are advised to secure their buildings and report any suspicious persons for activities to law enforcement immediately.
