This week, Growth Energy Fly In Participants shared the importance of retaining the Renewable Fuel Standard and upping the volume requirements as they lobbied on Capital Hill. POET renewable energy Mitchell manager Becky Pitz was South Dakota’s lone representative.
Pitz says the Growth Energy delegation is anxiously awaiting EPA’s decision on the volume requirements of the Renewable Fuel Standard.
Pitz had an opportunity to meet with Senators John Thune and Tim Johnson and Congresswoman Kristi Noem’s staff during her visit. It’s though EPA may come out with a ruling sometime in June.
