Missouri River Still Running High

The Corps of Engineers says the Missouri River reservoirs appear to have hit their peak and they are now working to move flood storage out before winter.

Mike Swenson with the Corps in Omaha says it will be a heavy year for run off….

Swenson says hig releases from the system will continue….

Swenson says Lake Oahe will also stay high for some time….

The Corps is struggling to move water out of the reservoirs with out making downstream flooding worse.
