The Corps of Engineers continues to drop the estimates for Missouri River flow into the winter as drought conditions continue.
Tom Curran, Operations Manager at Gavins Point Dam near Yankton, says outflows from the dam will drop a lot….

Current flows are at about thirty two thousand cubic feet per second.
Curran says its likely the big reservoirs will drop several feet below the base of their flood control levels….

Curran says the flows from Gavins Point Dam will be controlled through the power house turbines…

The Corps will hold several public meetings next week to provide updates on their winter and spring plans.
