The new Associated Press women’s basketball has added Minnesota to the top 25.

The Gophers enter the poll as #24 this week. South Dakota is the team just outside the top 25 with the most votes among other squads.

UConn finished off the decade in the same spot where it began — No. 1 in The Associated Press women’s college basketball poll. The Huskies received 19 first-place votes.

Second-ranked Oregon and third-ranked Oregon State both got five first-place votes. They were followed again by South Carolina and Stanford.
