Minnesota’s unemployment rate inched up one-tenth-of-a-point in June to three-point-nine percent. State jobs analyst Steve Hine says the state is still below the national jobless average of 5.3 percent. He says however, this 1.4 percent gap is the smallest the state has seen since the recession ended six years ago:
Education and health services led all sectors in June, followed by construction.
