Forbes named the State of Minnesota a top 50 employer for new graduates. Management and Budget Commissioner Myron Frans says he is proud of the fact Minnesota is the only state government system to make the nationwide ranking of 250 public and private sector employers

General Mills, Mayo Clinic, the U of M and 3M were other Minnesota-based employers included on the list. Franz says, on the whole, employers do a good job promoting the Minnesota quality of life when recruiting and retaining workers.
