The Minnesota legislature voted to loan twenty two million dollars to the Lewis & Clark Regional Water Project. It was one of the final bills in the 2014 session.

Lewis & Clark Executive Director Troy Larson said it was some good news for a change…

The project has been unable to follow through on construction due to the lack of federal dollars.

Larson says they could get work done on some of the Minnesota connections this year…

Larson says Minnesota customers will be significant users of water from Lewis & Clark…

Larson says the money from the State of Minnesota will be paid back by future federal funding.
