A recent lawsuit filed against CenturyLink by Minnesota Attorney General Lori Swanson is prompting policy changes for the company.
Swanson sued the Lousiana-based phone, TV and internet company in July alleging it billed higher amounts than its sales agents quoted customers for certain services–then refused to honor the prices for customers who caught the discrepencies. Swanson says she’s also working to see that Minnesotans who’ve already been overcharged get restitution.
