The latest Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment (MCA) testing scores are out. Results are similar to last year, with math scores down slightly for some grade levels, remaining constant for others and reading scores mostly unchanged. Education Commissioner Brenda Cassellius calls the results “frustrating.”
Cassellius is hopeful that implementation of the Every Student Succeeds Act next year will do just that with more focus. You can find information about how students fared throughout the state by clicking on the Minnesota Report Card at the Department of Education’s website.
