A federal judge this week ruled that President Trump’s voting commission can proceed with collecting voter data from 50 states. That hasn’t changed Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon’s mind about releasing the information
Simon says Minnesotans never expected when they registered to vote that their information would end up in an “ad hoc” federal database. He also says he doubts the credibility of the commission. The president, who set up the commission by executive order in May, has claimed that millions voted unlawfully in the November presidential election.
