Fall arrives after Mother Nature put the “damper” on a hot, dry summer in Minnesota.  Assistant State Climatologist Pete Boulay says August turned out to be the 11th wettest on record

 

Boulay says August was two-degrees below normal overall.  When it comes to statewide dew points, it was the least muggy summer since 2009.
