Minnesota Sailor from Pearl Harbor is Coming Home

A southern Minnesota sailor killed in action aboard the USS Oklahoma during the Pearl Harbor attack December 7th, 1941 is coming home. The remains of 24-year-old Glaydon I.C. Iverson, a Navy Fireman Third Class will arrive at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport this afternoon. Lt. Michael Sheehan is with the Navy Operational Support Center in Minneapolis

Iverson will be buried this Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday) next to his parents in the small town of Emmons in Freeborn County.
