Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers. Dan Tranter is with the Minnesota health department and says radon is a colorless, odorless gas that occurs naturally in the soil. He says testing for radon is inexpensive and kits can be found at your local hardware store
Tranter says radon is a problem across Minnesota, so residents in every county should test their home.
