Top Republicans have renewed their call to scrap the MNsure health insurance exchange, pointing to a backlog of 180,000 renewals caused by computer system problems. State Representative Greg Davids from Preston says Minnesota should move to the federal program.
State Human Services Department officials respond the backlog affects only those on public health insurance programs, and moving to the federal exchange would do nothing to resolve that.
