Minnesota fares well in the latest Sustainable Energy in America Factbook. The report ranks Minnesota as the 3rd largest state for community solar installations. And, Minnesota ranks 10th in the nation for overall energy efficiency programs.
Gregg Mast is Executive Director of the non-profit Clean Energy Economy Minnesota and says good news is: as the “electricity generation mix” continues to become cleaner–with more renewables, prices for Minnesota consumers remain below the national average.
