Minnesota Prepare For Shift in Medicare Plans

More than a quarter-million Minnesota seniors need to prepare for a shift in their Medicare plans.  Around 320-thousand Minnesotans with Medicare Cost health plans will have to switch to a new policy because federal law is eliminating the coverage next year.

Dr. Dan Trajano with Blue Cross Blue Shield Minnesota says the second step is to connect with a trusted insurance agent to discuss options. Insurers will start making detailed information about options for next year available on October 1st.
