With the announcement of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s budget proposal, lobbyists around the state are now looking to the legislature to make key funding a reality. Bradley Peterson with the Coalition of Greater Minnesota says funding of local government aid should not be a sticking point in any budgetary talks.

Peterson says it is also vital for the legislature to follow through on Walz’s commitment to transportation and infrastructure funding.
