Minnesota Lawmakers Consider Next Step After Pre-K Programs Update

Minnesota lawmakers are considering next steps after getting an update on pre-k programs from Legislative Auditor Jim Nobles.

 

Nobles says good intentions and hope are important–but they are not enough. His office is calling for clearer goals, more measurable results and better coordination and oversight. In front of a Senate committee, state education and health officials said they mostly agree with the auditor’s recommendations.
