The Minnesota House passed a bill to combat the opioid epidemic in Minnesota. House Minority Leader Kurt Daudt of Crown said the bill is flawed.

But House Majority Leader Ryan Winkler of Golden Valley countered

The bill would create an advisory council to make recommendations on ways to end the crisis and it puts a fee on pharmaceutical companies. The bill passed on a 94-43 vote in the Democrat-led House.
