A final rule to clarify which water bodies fall under regulations of the Clean Water Act has been released by the EPA. The rule defines which streams, tributaries, and wetlands should be protected.

Those opposed call the rule more un-needed government regulation and say it will take away the private property rights of landowners and farmers on land-use decisions and farming practices.
