Minnesota Governor Tim Walz was joined by commissioners, religious leaders and a bipartisan group of lawmakers at the State Capitol to address what the state is doing to protect Minnesotans during the partial government shutdown.
Walz would not say today who he blames for the shutdown, but again reiterated that “dysfunction in Washington must be met with thoughtful leadership in Minnesota.” The governor says as the shutdown continues, his staff will monitor its impact and evaluate appropriate responses.
