West Nile has been confirmed in a mosquito in St. Paul, Minnesota and cases have been reported in surrounding states. Mike McLean with Metro Mosquito Control says it’s hard to predict how the year will go.
McLean says hot, dry weather increases the risk factors of West Nile. He’s reminding Minnesotans to use bug spray containing DEET to reduce those risks.
