Minnesota Farmers Union President Doug Peterson is in Mexico City this week attending the Tri National Farmers Forum.  The panel consisting of representatives of the United States, Mexico and Canada is looking at the implications of the North American Free Trade Agreement.  Peterson says some of NAFTA’s problems can be worked out.

Peterson says the panel discussion will be an overview of NAFTA, what’s worked and what hasn’t and if there are any possible solutions to it.

The forum focused on the 20 year NAFTA deal runs through Friday January 31.
