The Biden administration has rolled out its so called 30 by 30 plan and renamed it the America the Beautiful Proposal. It seeks to work to conserve and restore the lands, waters and wildlife that support the nation. Minnesota Farm Bureau President Kevin Paap says he wants to see more specifics of where the President is heading to see it it will benefit agriculture.

Biden’s plan points toward an incentive based voluntary conservation approach and Paap says that makes sense and will be positive for farmers and ranchers.

He says as details unfold on Biden’s proposal its critical any regulations contained in it have the input of all stakeholders including agriculture.

Paap and his national group AFBF see the President’s plan as a philosophical document that emphasizes protecting personal and property rights and continued ranching on public lands.
